MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


This week we are looking at our acceptance.

Self-acceptance is the gateway of genuine acceptance of others. Of course, we always want to improve, heal and grow, but we may never achieve perfection in every area. It can be very transformative to practice learning to love something that is “imperfect”.


A suggestion for the week:

• Carve out a minimum of 5 minutes where you are able to be alone with your thoughts without distractions.

• In your journal, or on a clean sheet of paper, take a few minutes to write using the following formula:


“Even though ___________, I love and accept myself completely.”


• When you have finished, read over what you wrote with an open heart, acknowledging that no one is perfect, but all are deserving of acceptance.

• Take a few deep breaths and continue on with your day.
