MINDFULNESS MONDAY:


Today we are going to do a meditation on sound.


A suggestion for the week:

• Come to a comfortable position- whether that is in sitting or laying down.

• Begin simply by listening to the environment around you.

• Imagine that you can feel every sound you hear in all directions around you.

• In your mind’s eye ‘see’ the sound waves as they move through the atmosphere.

• Allow your attention to become focused on your breath, while holding an open awareness that fills your surroundings.

• For this week, as you go about your day become mindful of the various sounds that you hear. Notice the subtle sounds that you make.

• Make these observations without judgement of yourself or others, allow everything to be exactly as it is.


Being mindful of our daily situations allows us to be present in the hear and now and make the most of our time here.
